Meet the Rob Cary Team

Meet the amazing staff members that are taking care of your pets!

Meet Keith

I’ve lived in San Antonio, Texas, my entire life. For the past 35 years, I’ve worked at Rob Cary Pet Resort, where I’m proud to serve as the grooming manager. I’ve also been an obedience trainer for over 20 years, and I enjoy doing agility training with two of my six dogs. Family is everything to me. I’ve been happily married for 21 years, and I’m the proud father of four kids and grandfather to two amazing grandkids. My love for animals is a huge part of my life, both at work and at home.

Meet Alicia

Hello! My name is Alicia and I've been a bather here at Rob Cary since 2021. When I'm not getting your pets squeaky clean I'm taking care of my two pups and our 2 barn cats. I’m originally from San Antonio but my fiance and I moved out to Bulverde in 2020 where he grew up. I love taking nature walks on our property with our doggers (sometimes the kitties join us too), gardening, and being artsy. I'd love to add some more animals to the family like chickens, a pig, and a donkey but that's up for discussion. This city girl is loving the country life!

Meet Lori

Hello there, my name is Lori Aguilera and I have been a trainer at Rob Cary for almost 3 years. This is my fun job!! Not only do I love dog training, I enjoy working with children as a Preschool Director. I enjoy spending time with my 3 dogs, several cats, 2 bearded dragons 2 Leopard geckos, a 25-year-old box tortoise, and a 6 year old sulcata tortoise who’s got the worst case of bad attitude. I’m San Antonio-born and love that all my family lives here too.

Meet Jill

I started in Agility at Rob Cary over 17 years ago as a student. The more classes I attended, the more I grew to LOVE the sport. A strong bond developed between me and my dogs, not to mention the fun and excitement we both had. Shortly after I started my second dog in Agility, I became an Assistant Agility Instructor. A year or so later, I was an instructor with a few classes of my own, continuing my education and knowledge by attending seminars, webinars, and online courses. I have had five Agility dogs and competed with four of them. Unfortunately, two have crossed over the rainbow bridge. My 8-year-old Border Collie still participates in training and Agility Trial Events. The 13-year-old has officially retired and the youngest is just starting the adventure. All of my dogs have received Titles up into the Excellent/Masters level except one dog as she is the youngest and still learning.

Out of 14 Agility Classes at Rob Cary, I am the instructor for 10 of these classes. I am the Head Instructor and Training Director at Rob Cary. I enjoy teaching Agility and watching my students and their dogs progress through each level. They all become successful with their dogs and move on to experiencing the trialing circuit. Even if my students choose not to trial, it is still rewarding to watch these students and their dogs bond and work as a team together.
